It gives me the "warm and fuzzies' to introduce these stunning Felt, woolen ball rugs. Nic Nac is committed to only employing workshops and women that offer fair wages and working conditions. Felting is labour intensive. Firstly the wool is carded then dyed in various colors. Upon completion of the coloring process the Nepalese, mostly women start compressing the raw material with the help of soap & hot water by hand. No chemicals or machines are used to make the product; hence the felt products are 100% hand made. By rubbing and washing the wool with hot water the fibres fuse together.Â
